‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ rankings: Does Jason’s idol shake up the Brawn tribe?
We’re getting rather close to the latest episode of “Survivor” airing on CBS, and with that said, we’re happy to be busting out at least one more edition of our contestant rankings! Today, the focus is on the Brawn tribe, which suddenly has some sort of minor reprieve following a week that did not include Tribal Council.
With that being said, those of you who want to avoid a boring episode really better hope that the Beauty or the Brains tribe loses the next challenge, since we are otherwise facing a potentially super-boring outcome to the vote. As always, we are basing these rankings on a combination of different factors including strategy, screen time, edit, effectiveness around camp, challenge ability, and overall threat level.
4. Alecia Holden (last week: 4) – The good news for Alecia is that we really don’t think she is getting the edit of someone who is going to be eliminated tomorrow night. It feels like there will be comeuppance down the road for how Jason is treating her. However, we cannot rank her higher based on guy instinct. The reality here still is that she is still clearly on the bottom, and she does not have an immunity idol.
3. Cydney Gillon (3) – Cydney is proving herself to be a fairly smart, capable player. While it certainly would have been better to get the immunity idol herself, she understood her situation enough to know that this would be hard without losing trust from Jason and Scot. She’s still the smallest target of the three, and while she’s not getting the edit of a winner just yet, that could change.
2. Scot Pollard (1) – Until this past week, we thought that Scot really had a shot of pulling off an underdog victory. Now, we’re not so sure after we saw him make some strange decisions, in between telling Alecia of his vote and then being fairly passive in letting Jason have the idol.
1. Kyle Jason (2) – At the moment, any person on the Brawn tribe has their work cut out for them in trying to win this game, but we’ll at least give Jason a chance since he’s the one who is playing the game the hardest, and with that immunity idol he’s got a path to safety for a little while.
