Is ‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 18 new tonight? Looking beyond 300th episode

For all fans of “NCIS,” we don’t know how you saw that the next eight days are anything other than super-important. Just remember for a minute or two here what is going to be coming up.

While there is no new episode airing on CBS tonight, we’re going to be presented next week with an installment entitled “Scope” that will for the most part revolve around Gibbs and the rest of the team helping a military veteran suffering from PTSS who looks to music as a form of healing. It’s going to be a very different sort of story than the one that the show is typically used to telling, with the milestone nature of it serving as one of the primary reasons why.

In looking beyond that for a minute, rest assured that there are also a wide array of other interesting stories that could be rather interesting in their own way. For example, we know that the series is going to need to do something to set up the exit of Tony (Michael Weatherly) at the end of the season, and to go along with that, they’ve also got a challenge in trying to ensure that we get some sort of great introduction for whoever one of the new characters is going to be. Much has already been made regarding the decision to try and bring in someone before the end of the season, that way they can become a part of the group before season 14 premieres. We’ll just have to see what happens there.
