ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 13 video: Nathan Fillion’s Rick talks ‘corporate nonsense’

If there is one thing that we have come to learn about Richard Castle over the years, it is that he is a man of action. He’s not nearly much of a man of the mundane.

The latest evidence of this very thing is the new sneak peek below (first posted by TVLine) from Monday night’s new episode of “Castle” entitled “And Justice for All,” and it is one that focuses on the fun. Apparently, Alexis and Hayley have done a tremendous job doing what they can to turn his private-eye business into a place that can actually make some money. What’s the problem? It’s mostly that he doesn’t seem altogether interested in doing the same thing. He wants to do more exciting stuff, and implores them to seek that out. (Alexis, meanwhile, reminds him that he has another Nikki Heat book to write.)

Of course, you can expect that it won’t take too much time at all for Rick to find himself another interesting case, given that without it, there’d really be no show at all to be frank. Part of the fun of this series is figuring out a way in which for this quirky author to solve cases with the help of Beckett, who will hopefully have a big role of her own in this episode.

We’ll have more on this episode later tonight, but for now it looks like we’ll at least get a few laughs out of the story. So far we’ve thought season 8B to be a big step up over 8A; here’s to hoping that it lasts.
