Is ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 8 new tonight on Bravo? Reunion details

Tonight would typically be the perfect time to watch some shade-throwing and tea-spilling on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” … but unfortunately, it is not going to be the case on this particular Sunday. As for the reason why, blame the Academy Awards for that!

Apparently, Bravo considers the viewership for the ABC event to be a threat to its own ratings, and decided as a result of that that they are better off waiting for at least another week to air the next installment this season. We don’t have too much news on that within the span of this article, but we can at least discuss something else in the upcoming reunion show, which taped on February 25. Bravo recently announced the seating arrangement, and here is what we know.

1. Both Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams are sitting with Andy Cohen right between them. Therefore, it’s going to be his job to deal with any potential fights.

2. Cynthia Bailey is sitting next to Kenya, which should be interesting given some of the drama that has come up as of late when it comes to the commercial.

3. Kim Fields is apparently sitting almost as far away from Kenya and Cynthia as she can.

4. While NeNe Leakes has made her presence felt on the show over the past few weeks, apparently she is not going to be a key component for at least the first part of the reunion. We suppose that she could turn up at some point a little later … and we’d be shocked if she didn’t.
