‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 16 video: Grover busts out the accent

Hawaii -For anyone out there looking for something a little bit different from “Hawaii Five-0,” you’re going to have that on Friday night’s new episode. For one, we’re going to have an appearance from Ziggy Marley as Bones, an informant with a convoluted past who is hoping to just spare himself of charges; also, we’re going to have a chance to see Grover do some fun undercover work!

In the sneak peek below, you see Bones and Grover working together on a shipping operation to get a potential perp to spill the beans. As a result of that, Grover does his best Jamaican accent to throw the guy off, and convince him that he is not someone he should be threatened by such as law enforcement. This works, and eventually they are able to get the guy. However, he claims that he is now the victim of entrapment, which is not something Grover seems all that interested in hearing.

One of the real questions that you have to wonder with Grover’s whole “I’m Five-0” quote is this: Is this yet another symptom of why the group is being investigated in the first place? As you saw at the end of this past episode, it turns out that Julie Benz’s character has been working undercover the whole time to investigate some of the Five-0’s practices. While she may have some feelings for Chin, she also has this ulterior motive. You have to imagine that sooner or later, these two separate things are going to come to a head and create a few problems for her and then some. We’ll just have to see if that ends up being the case.
