‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 15 video: Diggle meets King Shark
There are a few things within the “Arrow” – “Flash” universe that give us life and joy, and one of the biggest ones is rather simple: Seeing John Diggle react to the existence of almost every meta-human that he meets. First, it was seeing The Flash for the first time, and since then, he’s seen a few others. The preview below is all about him getting to see King Shark for the first time, and it’s both awesome / hilarious. David Ramsey rules some of these scenes.
Let’s be honest: Would any of you react any differently to seeing King Shark? The only other possible reaction we can think of is running the other direction screaming, which is also perfectly acceptable. There’s not too much in the sneak peek that is important plot-wise, other than learning that Lyla has advanced up the ARGUS food chain following the death of Amanda Waller, and is investigating a breach within the aquariums that housed the notable villain.
There’s one important little Easter egg in here: King Shark is apparently housed in the third aquarium. Who are in the other two? We’d love to envision Killer Croc being there, even though we realize that the character is a part of “Suicide Squad” and DC Comics have already made their stance clear that sharing is not caring. Maybe the other one is an Aquaman villain, who is also probably not available but is fun to think about.
In the end, this sneak peek makes it very clear that there’s a lot to look forward to in this episode, even though on the surface we’re feeling like this will be a standalone hour of the show.
