‘Chicago Med’ episode 11 preview: Is an outbreak about to cause carnage?
If there is one thing that we have come to know about “Chicago Med” over the past ten episodes, it is that this is not a show where the characters get much time to breathe. Once they start to be able to relax, there are more issues that rise to the surface.
Take, for example, the next new episode entitled “Intervention,” where the show really seems to be leading the charge when it comes to vaccinations. We’ve seen these in the headlines a lot over the past year or tow, and this installment will tell you a thing or two more about what happens when a young girl who has not been vaccinated potentially causes chaos all across the hospital. Take a look at the synopsis below:
“Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) disagree over the final decision made by a patient suffering from a life-threatening heart condition. The pending lawsuit against Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) continues to move forward and Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo) and Dr. Zanetti (guest star Julie Berman) scramble to save a patient with a misdiagnosed flesh-eating bacterial disease. Elsewhere, Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) treats a young girl diagnosed with a contagious bacteria, prompting her and Dr. Halstead to take action to avoid a major outbreak.”
Obviously, it is fair to assume at the moment that we’re not going to see the entire cast die at the end of this episode, given that this is a show that needs to keep most of the team together. With this being said, are there other consequences that we could potentially see play out throughout the hour? Time will tell.
