‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: Rob Benedict set to return as Chuck
Oh my Chuck! Look who’s heading back to “Supernatural.”
From the moment that it was revealed this season that The Darkness a.k.a. Amara (Emily Swallow) was actually God’s sister, we suspected that Rob Benedict was going to be turning up on the CW series at some point. While it’s never been necessarily confirmed that the prophet Chuck is actually God in secret, the reality here still is that this has been strongly hinted here and there, at least enough to make many of us believe this is the case.
TVLine is now officially reporting the Rob Benedict will be returning to the show for the upcoming 20th episode this season, which may be an opportunity to finally know the official answer to this question one way or another. Even if Chuck for whatever reason is not God, he certainly knows enough to be one of the more interesting / valuable resources the Winchesters have in trying to stop Amara once and fore all.
More than anything, we’re just happy because getting Benedict back means more “Supernatural” nostalgia, and that to us is always a great thing. We’ve already had a chance to see Mark Pellegrino back this season as Lucifer for the first time in years, and we’re getting more Jim Beaver as Bobby a little later this season. Benedict last turned up in a surprise cameo during the 200th episode “Fan Fiction,” which for the most part was a simple slice of fun. This will be a more important role, at least in terms of how it is tied to everything else that is going on with the series.

Yes!!!!!!!!!! I love Chuck. Maybe he can come get rid of his sister. How bloody cool would it be to see Dean, Sam, Cas, Chuck, and maybe even Gabriel and Lucifer teaming up against the Darkness? That would be so awesome.
