NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 10 promo features Christina Aguilera back with the coaches
The tenth season of “The Voice” will be premiering on NBC come Monday, February 29, and you don’t have to wait any longer to see the fun first promo for the show!
Of course, the one thing that stands out more than anything else about this promo is the presence of one Christina Aguilera and her massive hair. She is back after a one-season hiatus to try to see if she can be the first female coach to actually win the season. Joining her this time are of course Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Pharrell Williams along with host Carson Daly. The three male coaches have been here for three straight seasons now, and we haven’t seen any indication that this going to change just yet.
Of course, we imagine that there will be some excitement surrounding the premiere and the Blind Auditions just as there always is. We’ve taken a philosophy with this show now that is basically akin to “it is what it is.” While we do believe “The Voice” to be tremendous entertainment, at the same time we don’t feel like it’s really built to give its contestants a great career after the show. Instead, it’s about rooting for coaches, funny banter, and occasionally getting a good performance that you’ll remember for some time. There’s a reason why the coaches are featured in this promo without a single shot of a contestant. NBC is looking out for themselves first, and understandably so.
We’ll hopefully have some more news on “The Voice” as it gets closer to premiering, but for now head over here to check out our archive! For “Blindspot” fans, here’s a reminder that the Jaimie Alexander series will once again be following it at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
