‘Jessica Jones’ season 2 spoilers: Rachael Taylor game to dive into Hellcat story

Will Rachael Taylor’s “Jessica Jones” character become Hellcat at some point in the future? The moment that Trish was introduced as a major part in the Netflix series, it was certainly understandable that you that you were thinking of the character as heading in that direction. The show just is just taking its time getting from point A to point B.

So will the transformation happen in the upcoming second season? It’s certainly possible. Speaking to Comic Book Resources in a new interview, Taylor had the following to say about being very much interested in taking part in this side of the role if it comes up:

“I try not to get ahead of myself and think about it too much, because it’s easy to get carried away and think about things … I already feel like I have more than my share, in a way, being on Netflix, being in the Marvel Universe, being in this show that has resonated so deeply with people. But of course, I mean, it would be amazing. … To take it that one step further is something that, yeah, I’d love to get my teeth stuck into whatever happens to the character.”

Obviously, you have to remember that there is no real reason whatsoever for the show to introduce Trish, knowing full well that this character already has this alter ego. The only real question we have is when this transformation could happen. It hasn’t been officially confirmed either way if season 2 will happen before or after “The Defenders.” We’re presuming more of the latter, but it would be nice to be pleasantly surprised.
