‘Chicago Fire’ season 4, episode 11 preview: Herrmann’s latest horrible day

Chicago Fire -Can Herrmann just not win on “Chicago Fire“? It certainly feels that way at the moment, where almost everything the guy does has some sort of terrible reaction.

The good news we can tell you about next week’s “The Path of Destruction” is that we cannot 100% guarantee that nothing bad is going to happen to him. With that being said, it also doesn’t look too great based on the synopsis below:

“A tornado threatens the city and Herrmann (David Eigenberg) discovers the path may hit close to home. Chili (Dora Madison) and Brett (Kara Killmer) lock heads when Chili makes a critical mistake that leaves a victim breathless, prompting Brett to report to Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) regarding Chili’s erratic behavior. Meanwhile, Otis (Yuri Sardarov) pleads for Dawson (Monica Raymund) to help him solve his women troubles and Severide (Taylor Kinney) is asked to lend assistance to agent Alex Ward (guest star Liza Bennett) from the Department of Homeland Security regarding a suspicious home.”

What could be “close to home” for him? Let’s hope that there’s no disaster at Molly’s, since we otherwise have no real idea where everyone is going to hang out after work! On another note, it looks like Severide will have an immediate distraction to keep his mind off of the latest events with April during the crossover, and Chili could be in a little bit of trouble.

One last quick note here is a scheduling one: The show is moving back to airing on Tuesday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. With that, there’s no more need for switcheroos or confusion.
