‘The X Factor’ UK runners-up Reggie ‘n Bollie still looking for record deal

Reggie -While this week we saw “The X Factor” winner Louisa Johnson have one of the slowest starts to date in terms of winner single sales, we’re also learning now that the runners-up in Reggie ‘n Bollie are still looking for some sort of record deal to call their own.

Speaking per Digital Spy following the finale, the dance-pop duo made it clear that they are actively looking for some place to call home, but also made it clear that to date, Simon Cowell had not offered them a spot on his own Syco imprint:

“Simon, right after the show, walked up to us and said, ‘great job – well done’. You guys have been amazing. We’re glad you came on this show and we know the future is going to be bright for you.’

“He didn’t say anything about a record deal, but we know our management are talking to different labels. At the moment there are really interesting conversations going on.”

To us, the future of these guys seems to be really simple: It’s all going to depend on the song. If they can find a track that really delivers their energy or creates one themselves, they could deliver a hit and be well on their way to the promised land. However, without that it will be hard for two guys with more limited vocal ability to find a home. We loved them on the show and in some ways were rooting for them to win, but who knows what is going to happen now?
