Is ‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 11 new tonight? New ‘Entropy’ details

“Criminal Minds” has had itself quite a run of episodes over the course of the fall, but all things must end and this is precisely where we are going into Wednesday night. Thanks to the two-hour “Survivor” finale and then the live reunion show, there is no new episode of the CBS coming up. As a matter of fact, it will not be until Wednesday, January 6 that you see “Entropy” on the air.

If there are reasons why this episode is worth the wait, though, we can give them to you in the attached synopsis:

“The BAU implements an elaborate strategy to try and take down the ‘Dirty Dozen’ hitmen ring, with Reid playing a central role, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Jan. 13 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Aubrey Plaza guest stars as Cat Adams, Reid’s date.”

For those of you who have missed the Reid character as of late, the great thing about this episode is that it will throw you back into his story in a short period of time. Not only that, but Plaza is a fun addition. Early casting reports suggested that she may be someone who actually holds Reid hostage, but there is always a chance that this ends up being much more complicated than it first seems, and she is a part of an elaborate set-up plan in her own right.

For now, let’s just rejoice that “Criminal Minds” is not doing something similar to many other shows out there in taking a long hiatus until February or March. You will be seeing more of the series sooner rather than later.
