‘The X Factor’ UK final spoilers: Duet partners revealed for Louisa Johnson, Che Chesterman, Reggie ‘n Bollie
There is one part of the “X Factor” final this weekend that we really have not discussed too much as of yet, but it is one of the most important parts of the equation: The duets! The finalists are going to get a chance to collaborate with someone on stage, and this could be a nice taste of stardom for some of them … with the emphasis on “some.”
Remember how the show proclaimed that there were going to be some huge names in here? Well, about that…
Louisa Johnson – Rita Ora. Probably the biggest name on the list in terms of being a current artist, but the irony here is that she’s already a part of the show! That’s hardly the biggest revelation that we’ve ever seen on the series.
Che Chesterman – Rod Stewart. The biggest name in terms of being a music icon, but he’s also not someone who has been relevant in some time. Is his voice really going to match up all that well with Che’s? We consider him more rock while Che is much more soul.
Reggie ‘n Bollie – Craig David. As an American viewer we barely even know who Craig David is. What happened to the rumors that Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini could have performed with them? What about Sean Paul?
Out of these three acts, we feel like Louisa is the one set to get the biggest lift, but if you are voting for people based on their duet performance in the first place then there’s something probably wrong with how you are doing it.
