‘Quantico’ midseason finale spoilers: Death is coming
It really should not come as much of a surprise to anyone that someone is going to die on the midseason finale of “Quantico.” This is something that happens with many shows out there, but in particular ones with large casts and ones that put a premium on trying to find unique ways to shock the audience.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly on the subject of just what the show has planned, executive producer Josh Safran stated the following:
“Because the show doesn’t pull any punches, not all of our cast survives the midseason finale … It’s sad. It’s been sad for us, too, but it’s also necessary. You can’t really tell a television show about the violence that we inflict on each other without actually following through on that.”
What you can probably assume here is that whatever does happen will propel the show further into the second half of the season, and in turn prepare us for more surprises down the road. We’ve already learned a thing or two regarding Simon being an architect for the bombing, but at the same time, he claims that he was not actually the one to follow through with the plan. He intentionally put some holes into it, only for someone else to go in and correct those problems.
It’s possible that you will finally learn who the culprit is during the big finale, but at the same time you may have to continue wondering the how and why of it all.
