‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 11 preview: Aubrey Plaza guest stars in ‘Entropy’
For all of you who have missed a little Reid on recent episodes of CBS’ “Criminal Minds,” we come bearing big news: He is going to be a big part of the show’s 2016 premiere on January 13! Not only that, but Matthew Gray Gubler is going to have some company in the form of Aubrey Plaza.
As you may have heard already, the former “Parks and Recreation” star is going to be guest-starring on this upcoming episode as a date of Reid’s who turns deadly, and basically challenges him to a series of tests that could endanger not just him, but every at a restaurant where he is at with her. This is certainly a different sort of story than we usually get from the show. It could be more self-contained, and may be more interesting as a result of that.
Given that we mostly know Plaza for comedy roles, it’ll be interesting to see how she tackles something with a tinge of drama to it. Also, we think that April on “Parks and Rec” was for the most part benevolent in the end.
We don’t have too much news beyond this episode at the moment, but we will say that CBS will probably air many episodes in succession throughout the first two months of the air. There are still a lot of stories still to tell, and they want to build some of the hype leading into the beginning of the “Beyond Borders” spin-off series debuting a little bit later in the spring.
