‘The X Factor’ UK final spoilers: Reggie ‘n Bollie head home with Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini

One of the things that we do really love about the “X Factor” final this weekend is that there is a wide degree of representation among the judges, and also the singers. You’ve got more of an old-school singer in Che Chesterman, someone in Louisa Johnson who can do modern pop, and then two guys in Reggie ‘n Bollie who have the party music side of things down. They’re energetic, they’re fun, and they are looking to deliver on getting an audience pumped up.

This week the two were sighted filming their hometown visit portion of the final, and it was nice to see their mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini going along for the ride! This show goes to the next level when you see a mentor really go the extra mile, and for one reason or another Cheryl’s felt super-invested this time. Maybe it was the executive producer promotion or she just really loves her acts this year. She danced with the boys during one of their numbers, she’s been to rehearsals to them, and she seems to just be having a great time working with them all around. Who said that the groups was a rough category to have?

As for whether or not these two could win the show, we’re starting to think that they really have a shot. It’s easy to become attracted to the underdogs, and with Louisa Johnson considered by many to be the consensus favorite, they are an alternative that does something completely different. She’s a much better singer, but this competition is also about much more than that.
