2015 CMA Awards: Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert among winners
The end of the year is a big one for music-themed awards shows, given that we’ve got everything from the CMA Awards to the American Music Awards taking place over the course of a few weeks. For the sake of this article, we’re focusing on the former, given that it aired earlier Wednesday on ABC, and some of the specific winners from the occasion.
We’re not going to sit here and pretend that we know much about country music or who is deserving, so we’ll leave that to you on social media or in the comments. For those who are just looking at a full list of the important winners from tonight’s show (hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley), we’ve got that for you below.
Entertainer of the Year – Luke Bryan. We’re probably the only one who remembers him mostly from one episode of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Male Vocalist – Chris Stapleton.
Female Vocalist – Miranda Lambert.
Album of the Year – Chris Stapleton, “Traveller.”
Vocal Group – Little Bit Town.
Vocal Duo – Florida Georgia Line

For those of who out there who did miss the opening segment featuring the two hosts tonight, we do have that in full for you below! There are some funny moments, and with that in mind we do feel like this is definitely something worth checking out … even if you are a fringe country fan or you don’t happen to love either of the hosts.
