‘Longmire’ season 5: Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, more react to renewal news

We’ve had a lot of fun as of late on the discussion of the recent “Longmire” season 5 renewal, otherwise known as something that we would clearly describe as a perfect treat right before Halloween. It’s going to be a long time before we have some story scoop on the subject of the show … though we’ve already made our personal desire to see Barry Sloane promoted to series regular abundantly clear.

Our assumption is that season 5 is probably going to start filming in the spring, since there are still many scripts to be written. We had a blast covering all of the episodes of season 4 daily, so we’re looking forward to doing that again.
