‘Reign’ season 3 spoilers: Will Mary and Catherine team up successfully?

Is Francis going to be gone from “Reign” by the time the Friday, November 20 episode airs? We know that the character is dying this season, and he is not explicitly mentioned in the just-released synopsis below for “Fight or Flight.” Still, we’d say that you still should not take this as much in the way of concrete evidence one way or another that he is gone. Sometimes people just don’t appear in these, and Toby Regbo is listed among the cast that was included in the press release.

Aside from the Francis mystery, it does still appear as though there are a variety of other interesting developments worth following in this episode when it comes to everything from Mary and Catherine trying to work together to also seeing what happens with Queen Elizabeth and her court. Take a look:

“Mary (Adelaide Kane) realizes she must help Catherine (Megan Follows) in her quest to become regent, even at the risk of hurting the alliance with Scotland. Claude (Rose Williams) is determined to help Leith (Jonathan Keltz) marry while Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) struggles with the prospect of losing Dudley (Charlie Carrick).”

Let us hope that this episode ends on a particularly important note, if for no other reason than that it will probably be the last episode of the show for November. Since it would be crazy for The CW to place an installment after Thanksgiving, “Reign” will probably take at least a short break until December. We’ll have more news on that sujbect a little more down the road.
