‘American Horror Story’ season 6: Ryan Murphy has ideas; what’s Evan Peters pitching?
Is it ever too early to start thinking about the future of “American Horror Story,” right? Clearly, executive producer Ryan Murphy feels this way, given the fact that he is already starting to ponder over some of what the future could be for the series on FX.
Speaking per Entertainment Weekly at the publication’s EW Fest, Murphy made it clear that he already is narrowing down the list of ideas for what the next season will be … which could be important if he wants to include some sort of clue into the show at some point. We know that he often gets ideas from a variety of places. Some are the creation of him and the producers; meanwhile, the idea for “Freak Show” was one brought to him by cast member Jessica Lange.
Speaking of cast members and ideas, Evan Peters has continually (and rather unsuccessfully) pitched an “American Horror Story: Space,” which we feel would be rather entertaining to watch. However, we understand there being some concerns over the idea. For one, it would be rather expensive in theory, and you also have to figure out what the threats would be. After all, not everyone is afraid or interested in aliens, and sometimes, they can come across as rather cheesy. Just look at people who watched “Signs.”
The new season of “American Horror Story” will arrive at some point in 2016, and we imagine that we’ll have a whole lot in the way of news by the time we make it to the end of this season.
