‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: New look at Captain Hook’s father!

There is a new episode of “Once Upon a Time” airing on Sunday night, but before we get to that, why not add a little bit of Captain Hook action to the mix?

You may have heard already that Adam Croasdell is going to be appearing in at least one episode of the ABC show as Hook’s father, and we’ve got one small tease of it below! There is no clear word just yet on what this character will be like, but it is probably fair to guess that his relationship with his son was rather complicated. How else does one choose to become one of the most notorious pirates to ever hit the high seas? It’s not something that the majority of people decide to just go out and do.

The one thing we’re most excited about with a Hook flashback story is that maybe in finding out more about who this character was, we can learn a little about who he can be. Specifically, we are speaking through the lens here of getting to see what his future with Emma could be like, provided of course she ever rids herself of the Dark Swan curse.

The appearance from Papa Hook will be a little later this season; by the time we make it there, we’ll be closer to the end of the first half of season 5 and potentially then the Dark Swan arc. We’ll have some further news and updates all about the show as time goes by. Be sure to stay on the lookout in the weeks ahead!
