ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: ‘High School Musical’ alum Corbin Bleu in as…
“Castle” is about to get a little more musical, and we certainly don’t mind! While we don’t know if we’re going get to hear Nathan Fillion or Stana Katic sing on the show anytime soon, anytime we associate Nathan with music brings back fond memories of the brilliant “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.”
The one person we can confirm to be singing on the show soon is none other than Corbin Bleu. According to Entertainment Weekly, the “High School Musical” alum will be appearing in an upcoming episode entitled “Tone Deaf,” and it will be one that takes place in the super-crazy and competitive world of acapella. It’s an absurd idea, but with him playing the head of a rival singing group, this should be a lot of fun.
Other than an episode that brings Castle and Beckett back together after their seemingly-inexplicable breakup, at this point silly episodes are what we want to see the most. There has been so much drama with their relationship as of late, it’s nice to take a breather here and there. Plus, we feel like television is slowly taking away some of the fun procedural stories of yesteryear. Sometimes, it’s fun to watch a light mystery that is over-the-top at times, makes you laugh, and still finds ways here and there to make you think.
We’ll have some other news soon when it comes to “Castle”; unfortunately, there is not going to be a new episode on the air until November. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait.

They’ve called the last three episodes fun and only one of them has been any good. IMO the best episodes over the years have been the ones that were either mostly dramatic or split evenly between the two.

“This should be a lot of fun” and “silly episodes are what we want to see most” what have you been drinking or smoking? The only thing I want to see is Caskett back together by 8×08. Enough of this stalling to stretch the season out because the show leaders lie and the writers cannot be original. They had better call everybody back in to refilm 8×08 before it is too late to save the series. I imagine that Stana won’t fall for their lies and tricks again and,in fact, she is probably looking for holes in her contract now. They say to fail in an endeavor all you have to do is make a bad decision early in the endeavor. So much for the success of this season.

Oh boy Matt, just what the fans want more stupid humor , hopefully no frat humor it is really getting old . We wont see Stana Katic in that episode I imagine she was away. As usual I will read the bad reviews and round tables of how everyone thinks it funny but all waiting to see Caskett back together . As I see what the writers are doing don’t hold your breath , just wait for another lie/hook to keep all you guys on the hook.

I don’t think she was away for that episode. It’s the one they’re shooting now, or just completed. (8×09).
For me, this season is just like any Freshman show. If it didn’t have an audience already from the past years, I don’t think it would have lasted 13 episodes. What a mess.

OhNoes234, you have that right it still may not make it past 13 episodes.

Sorry but I do not understand why 13 episodes. Unlucky number? Personally my number is 8 episodes. Three weeks on no episodes except reruns, three episodes of inane drivel and six weeks of hiatus and they expect me to come back for 8×09. No way unless they get Caskett back together in 8×08. After all they will still have the story line of Bracken’s partner to last until they can develop another story line or two.

Buddy ,I am just giving them the benefit of the doubt. but alas I am probably wrong . which means the writers ran my once favorite show down the toilet.

Who is going to watch for 13 episodes? They knew about the early fall hiatus and that they only had 8 episodes in which to impress me and so far they have failed. They can either have a cliff hanger that promises dire action on catching Bracken’s partner and possibly getting Caskett back together in episode 8×09 or, they can get them together as husband and wife and as a crime solving team in 8×08 for when they come back for 8×09. I prefer the latter because the other only makes me suspicious of another lie.
