‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: First look at Alicia, Cary stories in ‘Innocents’
As many who have been following “The Good Wife” intently know, season 7 is going to be a chance for rebirth for many of the characters. For Alicia Florrick, this is a chance to really start fresh with some new cases after the whole State’s Attorney debacle. Meanwhile, for Cary Agos it is a chance to continue his own legal career, one that hopefully will not have any more incidents or crises like what he ran into with Bishop through a good percentage of season 6. Then again, let’s just hope that things are better for him; remember, we never saw his crisis coming that we saw him dealing with at the start of season 6.
“Innocents” is the title for the upcoming second episode of the season, and it certainly seems as though Alicia is already back on the grind based on the synopsis below:
“Alicia argues a complex museum vandalism case that involves photographs a mother took of her son, and considers enlisting the help of investigator Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Also, Cary must deal with partner Howard Lyman’s inappropriate conduct towards the younger associates at the offices of Lockhart, Agos & Lee.”
Morgan, if you have not heard, is going to be a significant part of the upcoming seventh season, and of course we imagine there will be rumors at some point about whether or not his character of Jason could end up being the love interest for Alicia that the show has struggled to find for her so far. Will Gardner obviously had a chance before his death, and Matthew Goode is seemingly not returning.
As for Peter … well, that ship sailed come even before the pilot episode.
