ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 2 spoilers: First Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion ‘XX’ details

“XX” is the title for the second episode of “Castle” season 8, and in the event you are wondering why in the world ABC thought that this would be a great idea for the episode’s title, it all goes back to the premiere. The first two episodes chronicle a major event from two different perspectives; in “XY,” it is about Rick. Meanwhile, “XX” will be Beckett’s story. It is a chance to Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic each their own individual moment in the sun, and it seems as though there is going to be some interesting stuff to surround them.

While we are waiting for the full press release for this episode via ABC, we can at least give you the shortened version right now via SpoilerTV:

“Beckett receives a mysterious tip and is launched into a fight for her life with mercenaries on her tail; Castle tries to determine why his wife is on the run.”

The best thing that we can say at the moment about this title is that it certainly sounds dangerous, and we are always excited to see what the show decides to do whenever they get Beckett and Castle in a tough position that they have to claw their way out of. While we know that Jack Coleman is going to be back as Bracken for the premiere, there’s no word just yet on if he will also be turning up in “XX.” What we do know is that when it comes to Beckett, there are few other people she identifies as villains on this particular level.
