‘Chicago PD’ season 3 spoilers: Official details for Sophia Bush, cast in premiere

The “Chicago PD” season 3 premiere is going to be coming up on NBC on Wednesday, September 30, and doesn’t it feel now like the right time to share some news on what to expect? That is why we are glad to have a few more details on what is coming up for Sophia Bush, Jesse Lee Soffer, and the rest of the cast below.

You have probably heard a few of the details in the synopsis for “Life is Fluid” below before, such as Halstead trying to figure out a way to get through to Lindsay and some possible conflict between Burgess and Ruzek about whether or not the latter is really ready to be a husband. However, we haven’t gotten it together before now in a way that allows for proper context, and really connects the dots in a way that is very welcome:

“Intelligence is in pursuit of Derek Keyes (guest star Bokeem Woodbine), number one on Chicago’s Most Wanted list and heroin kingpin. Meanwhile, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) tries to get through to Lindsay (Sophia Bush) as her downward spiral continues after her three-week absence from the unit. At District, Olinsky (Elias Koteas) opens up to Platt (Amy Morton) about a secret from his past. Roman (Brian Geraghty) expresses his concerns to Burgess (Marina Squerciati) about what she’s getting into by marrying Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger).”

While it is not a part of the synopsis, we have already heard a little bit about how Halstead is going to be eventually captured in the episode, and this will be in part one of the motivations for Erin to eventually get on the badge once again.
