‘Fuller House’: Check out the logo now for Netflix’s ‘Full House’ revival!
In between “The X-Files,” “Fuller House,” and possibly even “Prison Break” coming out in 2016, it is turning out to be very much the year of the classic TV show revival. Why the thirst for nostalgia? Much of it is due to the fact that there is now so much competition, and viewers are craving a simpler time, with characters that they know, and something that they don’t have to search long and hard to find.
Thursday, Netflix unveiled for the first time the official “Fuller House” logo, and if anything was going to make you think of DJ Tanner and the rest of the gang right away, this is probably it. It looks obviously very much like the original show, and it is certainly intended to. We don’t get the sense that the service is out to reinvent the series with this show, but is instead hoping to provide some sort of sequel featuring popular characters, and hopefully a few new additions that viewers will love.
There is no official premiere date yet for the revival (think early 2016), but Candace Cameron Bure, Andrew Barber, and Jodie Sweetin are all set to reprise their roles from the original, and we know that the likes of John Stamos, Bob Saget, and Dave Coulier are all set to at least make appearances.
While the Olsen Twins have not confirmed that they will take part, we do still know that there are plenty of people out there holding up a candle in hopes that they could turn up to utter a catch-phrase or two at some point over the course of the first season.
