‘Faking It’ season 2 video: Catch up in 90 seconds!
The second season of “Faking It” is premiering on August 24, and based on everything that we’ve heard so far, it will be as complicated as ever with questions of feelings, hookups, breakups, tears, and plenty of solid comedy.
In the video below, though, the focus is not so much on the future. Rather, we’re talking more about the past. Lauren narrates what is approximately the past season and a half of content into about 90 seconds, and it at least gives you some of the major information you need to know. It has been surprisingly long since the first half of season 2 came to a close, so we really would not be surprised if you started to forget a detail here and there.
While there is no new footage in here, there is one important little tidbit that we really should point out: At the very end of the video, there is a marker for “two weeks later” … meaning that there is at least some sort of time jump coming (even if it not a particularly big one).
As we’ve said a few times over now, we do feel like “Faking It” has a particularly tricky challenge in that it has to find a way to ultimately find a way to keep all of these relationships twisted, interesting, and worth watching. Do you get Amy and Karma together this season? You have to figure out a way for it to make sense, and for their feelings for each other to be there at the right time. We do think the show shouldn’t wait too long on it if this is their endgame, if for no other reason than that there is still a good amount of story that could be told with the two as an actual couple.
