‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: Rebecca’s murder will play a key part

Through some previous articles about ABC’s hit “How to Get Away with Murder,” it has already been made fairly clear that the show is taking on a rather different approach when it comes to revealing Rebecca’s killer. The show is not going to make you wait for answers in the slightest! The killer will be revealed in the season premiere.

With that said, don’t think that the reveal of the killer is some sort of sign that the show is going to suddenly start giving you all sorts of information when it comes to this death. There may be some things that the show makes you wait on, at least based on what executive producer Pete Nowalk said recently on the subject to The Hollywood Reporter:

“Just like anything in our show, I don’t want anything to be forgotten. Just like Sam’s murder, Lila’s murder — yes they’re dead, but the consequences of that continue to reverberate. The same is going to happen with Rebecca. Some people will know she’s dead; some people will know who killed her; some people will think she’s missing. She plays a big part in season two, even though she’s dead.”

Nowalk also said that he does not want to guarantee that the show is always going to be about murder, or that someone will die every season. The exciting thing about this series for the most part is just how fluid it is. There are things with it that change depending on various elements and ideas, and this is something that is exciting to see unfold. What is the designed ending for a season now may not be that way a few months down the road.
