‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Meg, James, Jackie make a decision (for now)

JamesDo we now have an officially feeling of where the votes are going to go on “Big Brother 17“? We wouldn’t go that far just yet since there’s still the day to go today, but for now it feels fairly locked in that Becky is not going to get what she wants as Head of Household.

With Meg, James, and Jackie all deciding to get rid of Shelli, it feels locked in that this is the way that the votes are going to go for the time being. There’s little chance that Austin or the Twins want to send home Vanessa, given that they know Vanessa more or less needs them at this point. Is this the right move? We’ve thought a lot about it, and for now we feel like it’s a mistake. You’re keeping a better strategist in the game longer, and while Shelli may be closer to Johnny Mac, Vanessa is closer to Steve than she is, and despite their issues this week, they can probably still reassemble. You’re basically strengthening Freaks and Geeks and reducing flexibility. Also, why make an enemy out of Becky when you really don’t have to?

The one thing that we do feel this really does is severely hurt Becky’s chances of making it through the Double Eviction tonight. We’d be willing to wager right now that unless Johnny Mac wins Head of Household, there’s a good chance either he or Becky is out the door. Vanessa could also be sent home if James, Jackie, or Meg is in power, but we’re not sure it is as much a guarantee since she has so many votes on her side already. Shelli probably wouldn’t have that if you nominated her during the double-eviction.

Anyway, the Goblins informed Steve last night that they are getting rid of Shelli, and he can vote accordingly. Suffice it to say, this is going to be a FUN episode tonight. Also, it’s been a wonderful season, and easily our favorite so far since season 14, which is arguably our favorite since season 11.
