‘Big Brother 17’ review: BB Comics and Becky’s big move

BeckyTonight’s episode of “Big Brother 17” was mostly all about a few things: A cool Veto Competition, Becky plotting to nominate Vanessa, and also the evolution of relationships in the house.

Before that, let’s talk Austin and Liz here for a minute. Sure, we can still dislike them, but this article marks the end of us trying to insinuate that he is some sort of creepy stalker. She let us know tonight that she is officially into it. Maybe it’s Stockholm Syndrome or something, but clearly that relationship has changed. Austin’s just going to be very surprised to learn that this relationship is not exactly popular outside the house.

The BB Comics competition was a ton of fun, and the comics this year were especially creative. In particular, we died with laughter the moment that we saw that Becky’s comic. Since she loves it, we feel fine with mocking that the show had the guts to have fun with the whole train thing. Also, bonus points for Shelli laughing about her whole “Puma” thing. This cannot be an easy thing to really do.

After Steve ended up winning the Veto, the rest of the episode was spent watching Vanessa running around and being paranoid, and then James potentially screwing up during a conversation with her … not that it really matters that much. We were really excited to see what the speech from Becky at the Veto Ceremony, and she was for the most part tame other than saying that Vanessa “drops” a lot of players. We’re not going to spoil the feeds here, but let’s just say that Becky may be getting a wee bit too cocky with her feeling like Vanessa is for sure gone. Grade: B.
