‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Has the house officially flipped?
This is what makes “Big Brother” so fun. Just a matter of a day ago, it felt officially that Vanessa was a dead woman walking. She did not have many friends in this game, and to go along with that she also was such a big strategic threat that it made sense for people to dispatch of her.
Yet, paranoia and second-guessing can turn things around, and that seems to be what has happened this time. It appears as of now that Austin is on the same page with the likes of James, Meg, and Jackie, and that really raises the odds of Shelli going home over Vanessa. Austin should be able to rope in the twins easily, given that they have always been a little closer to Vanessa anyway and mostly were voting to evict her previously just because it seemed to be the only move. Now, Steve and Johnny Mac are somewhat on an island.
While all of this is happening, Vanessa has spent a ton of time trying to expose Steve as someone she believes is responsible for being put in this position, when in reality he has really just been put in a tough spot this week. Still, she wants Johnny Mac out in the double-eviction over him, which is the right move for her to make since it is really Johnny Mac who’s been the main proponent of targeting her alongside Becky.
Ultimately, Shelli better realize soon that she better start to campaign hard if she wants any hope at staying. Ironically, her own social game is working against her here since one of the main reasons to get in with her is that she could get in good with people. Nobody thinks that Vanessa can really do that.
