‘Bachelor in Paradise’ CarterMatt Podcast: Talking the premiere drama, wedding, and more with Jessa

We are a little bit late with start off our “Bachelor in Paradise” CarterMatt Podcast series, but better late than never, right? This podcast serves as a worthy companion to the crazy ABC show, and this is something that we’re hoping we will get a chance to do much more of in regularity over the course of the rest of this season.

Below, we got through many of the events of the premiere, and among some of the big subjects include the Lacy Faddoul – Marcus Grodd wedding (including whether or not it really matters that they don’t have a marriage license yet), the pairing of Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper, whether or not we find JJ Lane somewhat more appealing here that we did on “The Bachelorette,” and also a few things that annoyed us.

Of course, we do spend a minute or two in here discussing the general format of the show, and also the extremely controversial aftershow that came on and made a wide array of waves over some of the way that it was structured. Was it almost too mean for something related to Bachelor Nation? We also touch on that as a hot topic.

In the end, we simply take a minute or two to preview what is coming up the rest of the season. We get the indication that the drama is far from over, especially when it comes to Ashley Iaconetti and some of her tears (which turn up often).
