‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ spoilers: When does Lady Gaga begin filming?
To date, Lady Gaga has been the most high-profile star of the “American Horror Story: Hotel” franchise, but she also has in many ways been the most mysterious. She has not appeared at any panels for the show, and nor was she in attendance for the TCA Summer Press Tour panel for the this earlier this weekend. As a matter of fact, she has not begun filming the show just yet.
With that being said, we are starting to learn a little bit more about just who her character is, and how important she will be to the overall story. Her name is Elizabeth, and she will have romances of some sort with characters played by Matt Bomer, Finn Wittrock, Angela Bassett, and Cheyenne Jackson. Clearly, there’s going to be a lot of ground covered over the course of the year to make all of that even possible. Her name is Elizabeth, and Ryan Murphy describes her part as a “a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art, fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode that plays out over the season.”
While Kathy Bates’ character of Lily is the person responsible for really running the hotel at the center of the show, Gaga’s character actually owns it. Therefore, we can easily envision some situations where she is thought of as some sort of a nuisance to what Iris is up to if she gets in the way.
Sarah Paulson will be one of the show’s villains, while Bassett is going to be a popular actress who visits often and clashes with Wittrock, who plays a male model named Tristan Duffy. So far, it looks as though there will be quite an interesting cast, and of course a few scares to go along with it.
