‘Stitchers’ season 2: Early premiere date speculation!
ABC Family decided to take a couple of interesting risks when it comes to “Stitchers.” This is a show that is a part of a key effort by the network to appeal to more of a young-adult crowd versus just teens, and it is also an attempt to have something with a little more of a procedural element. When you look at a show like “Pretty Little Liars,” it’s going to be mighty tough to jump in and have any clue as to what is going on.
Tonight marked the season 1 finale, and it is pretty clear after watching that we could see many of the characters in an interesting place. Heck, Cameron may be dead. What’d you think about that cliffhanger?
We don’t have any news for you unfortunately when it comes to that right now, but we can at least offer up something when it comes to pondering over the show’s future. The network renewed the show last month for a second season, and given the timing of it all, they have a pair of options here:
1. Try to get a batch of episodes together for the winter (which seems challenging given when the show was renewed, and the fact that there are still some more scripts that need to be written). This is something that they at least do with many established shows.
2. Air another season in the summer of next year.
Regardless of when season 2 airs, hopefully the show will build off of the foundation that they have set up here for Cameron and all of the other characters … provided he survives.
