‘The Bachelorette’ finale: Will Kaitlyn Bristowe, Shawn Booth, Nick Viall have another TV gig?
Let’s start with the obvious: Whoever Kaitlyn picks will probably get an update segment of some sort on the next season of “The Bachelor.” Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray were featured briefly before breaking up, and even after that she got an interview. This is all something that will happen regardless of what happens tonight.
Now, let’s talk about broader shows. Out of the last three Bachelors and last two Bachelorettes, only Desiree Hartsock has made an attempt at living a normal life away from the camera after the show. Andi is doing some sort of web series, Chris Soules did “Dancing with the Stars” and now “Worst Cooks in America,” Sean and Catherine Lowe are rumored to be on “Marriage Boot Camp” next season, and Juan Pablo Galavis did “Couples Therapy.” That’s kind of crazy that we have here four different stars of the show appearing on other shows that have little to do with “The Bachelor” franchise at all.
Could we see Kaitlyn going on “Dancing with the Stars”? Sure, but it would not exactly be the most fair thing in the world given that she teaches dance. If she breaks up with whoever she picks, then we could see any of the final three on “Bachelor in Paradise.” Nick’s already done two seasons of “The Bachelorette,” so why not? There are of course other reality shows that would take them on in a second, but we see them as more secondary options for now.
