‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: Cat, Vincent work on their relationship

Isn’t it great to finally know that Cat and Vincent on “Beauty and the Beast” are engaged? We feel like this was such a great move for a wide array of reasons on the part of the show, but the biggest one may be just that it gives you some sort of solace that these two characters are probably going to be sticking together. We don’t envision the writers for the series going through all of this effort to pair them up with a ring, only to then split them up later. That would be too cruel to many of the show’s fans.

However, we are going to still see these two work on their relationship, which brings us to “The Heart of the Matter” … seriously. This is the title for the fourth episode of the series airing on Thursday, July 2, and you can see the brand-new synopsis on the episode via The CW below:

“Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) take their relationship to a couples counselor (Saul Rubinek) when Cat dives into her work and suspects a wealthy transplant recipient of being involved with the mysterious experiments on innocent people in the city.”

Does it sound intriguing? For us, what we are excited to see through here is getting these two in a more human setting, where there could be a good bit of natural comedy that comes out of them being two extraordinary people who at the same time are trying to navigate some avenues of an ordinary relationship.
