‘Doctor Who’ season 9: Want to see Peter Capaldi, Steven Moffat at the Doctor Who Festival?

Doctor Who -We have already reported that Peter Capaldi is finally heading to San Diego Comic-Con next month in preparation of “Doctor Who” season 9, and we’ve now received confirmation that later this fall, right in the middle of the season airing, you can have a chance to see both him and executive producer Steven Moffat at the Doctor Who Festival in London. This event runs from November 13-15, and tickets are going to be on sale June 5. This is a chance for all Whovians to congregate and potentially have a great time in London, while talking about what will hopefully be an excellent season of entertainment.

In speaking out himself about his appearance at the festival, Capaldi passed along the following message:

“If having the world’s favorite Time Lord back on screen every week isn’t enough for you (and it’s not for me) then The Doctor Who Festival in London is the place to be. I’ll be heading there in November to join the fun and if it’s anything like the 50th anniversary event, then prepare yourself for total Time Lord mania.”

The new season of “Doctor Who” does not have an official premiere date yet, but our feeling is that late August / early September is likely when you will see it start. Last year, all began on August 23, and there’s really no reason for the timeframe to be altogether different this time around. Michelle Gomez and Maisie Williams are among the notable guest stars, and we’ve heard that there is going to be more of a prominent focus on two-part stories this time around.
