‘Big Brother Canada 3’ interview: Pilar Nemer on sudden exit, Kevin vs. Ashleigh, and more

For a time, we admit that we seriously thought that Pilar Nemer was going to be a major contender to win this “Big Brother Canada” season. She was in a really good spot in the game, and there was never an enormous feeling among the other players that she was a huge threat to many of them. Ultimately, her eviction came about mostly as a byproduct to her being close with Ashleigh, and Brittnee and Sarah did not want an alliance of two making it late in the game.

During a conference call today, we had a chance to talk a little bit with the woman otherwise known as Pili about her strategy, some of the moves that she made, and also where her true alliance was in the event that Kevin and Ashleigh each stuck around for the long haul. We were only able to ask three questions, and they could not give away any details on the game.

CarterMatt – After being on the block the first week and being saved by Canada, what did you do to get yourself into a good position in the game?

I didn’t really do anything special! (Laughs.) I just played the game being true to myself. I chose to work with the Diaper Alliance and I stuck with that, but I didn’t really manipulate and I didn’t do anything crazy. I was just myself and tried as hard as I could! I was very, very grateful and blessed to be saved my Canada, though.

If Kevin had stayed in the game, would you have stuck with him or Ashleigh until the very end?

I would have stuck with both of them! I was working with both of them anyways, and at a certain point in the game it would be a different situation. Ashleigh probably would have stuck more with Zach, so I probably would have swung more towards Kevin’s side.

What are you looking forward to seeing on TV when the show airs?

I’m actually looking forward to seeing all of the different things I wasn’t aware of! (Laughs.) There were so many different things that happened, Zach working with people, alliances that I did not even know about. You people know way more about this season than we do from watching. I’m looking forward to seeing all of the different secrets that are out there!

The Kevin question to us is pretty interesting, given that Ashleigh had said in the Diary Room that she would have taken Pili to the end over Zach.
