‘Undateable’ season 2 spoilers: Zach Braff, Donald Faison to join live episode
How many big stars can “Undateable” cram into some live episodes? That is what we are starting to figure out this week. We already knew that Victoria Justice was joining the cast for this episode tomorrow (which will be airing different versions on the east and west coast), and we also have a list of some other people that will join her.
To us, the most notable additions are Zach Braff and Donald Faison back together, which is an obvious “Scrubs” reunion given that Bill Lawrence is an executive-producer on all series. According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, fellow alumni Neil Flynn and Christa Miller are also going to be stopping by for some spots of their own. It is especially nice to see Flynn on board, mostly because he is an extremely busy guy these days thanks to his regular gig on “The Middle.”
Now, what we wonder is strictly this: Will any of these guest appearances matter when it comes to ratings? While “Undateable” has drawn some fine numbers since airing after “The Voice” Tuesday nights, we would not say for sure that it is a lock to be coming back for a third season just yet. If nothing else, think of this as a show of good faith that NBC likes the show, and they are willing to let the show go completely crazy with guest stars and other cool stuff.
Oh, and we wouldn’t mind more Ron Funches airtime, as well. We could honestly sit down and watch the guy sit down and read the phone book.
What do you think about these additions, and are you secretly hoping for a “Scrubs” reunion show like we are? Share some of your thoughts with a comment.
