‘Gotham’ finale spoilers: Will Fish Mooney, Maroni, Barbara, or someone else die?

Tonight, “Gotham” built towards an epic season finale by giving us the beginnings of a gang war, and come the finale in a week’s time, this same gang war is going to reach a boiling point. You can expect plenty of violence, and to go along with that of course means possible character deaths. There are a few candidates, with Fish Mooney leading the way. Jada Pinkett Smith has already confirmed that she will not be returning this season. While this does not necessarily mean that she is going to die, you have to consider her a strong candidate for it at least for the time being.

The synopsis below is probably the first great resource that you can have to see what lies ahead; in addition to the gang war, we imagine that the Bruce Wayne story will be especially notable given what he finds:

“As Gotham City’s gang war reaches its boiling point, Fish Mooney goes head-to-head with Maroni and Penguin in an attempt to re-stake her claim on the city. Meanwhile, Barbara and Leslie Thompkins are brought together after recent events, and Bruce searches Wayne Manor for any hints that his father might have left behind.”

Yes, the odds of there being some sort of Batman reveal during the episode are almost impossible given that Bruce is still a kid. However, maybe we can get something in here that furthers him along that path? We definitely would not rule out a potential shocker in that department.
