ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 21 preview: Nathan Fillion, Molly Quinn take to the skies
Tonight’s new episode of “Castle” was a pretty powerful one for those of you wanting to get a better understanding of the latest in Castle mythology. It was a pretty fascinating hour of TV, but this is not a show that likes to dwell on long-term stories for multiple episodes at a time.
Instead, we are now going into the next new episode entitled “In Plane Sight” preparing to get a story that will be going in a very different direction. Specifically, the show is taking to the skies! While ABC has not exactly revealed a whole lot about this installment so far, you should know that this one will give both Nathan Fillion and Molly Quinn a sizable amount of time together. Not only that, but Castle and Alexis will have a case to solve while Stana Katic’s Beckett can only help from the ground.
If you have not seen it already, take a look at the synopsis below:
“As Castle and Alexis travel to London, their routine flight turns deadly when the plane’s Air Marshal is found murdered. With the help of Beckett on the ground, Castle and Alexis race against time to find the killer before he carries out his fateful plan.”
In a word, the promo below is all sorts of awesome. There are snakes on a plane! Or, there’s at least one snake on the plane. Either way, we are beyond excited to see some of what happens on the next new episode.

The comedies are consistently better than the dramas.

You are correct that this show does not dwell multiple hours on a long term story. This show chooses to not say anything about a long term story, then bring it up a year later and try to resurrect some interest but delay it again for some indefinite time. Well guess what – I was totally unimpressed with “Sleeper” and, like millions of ex fans I am bored in the waiting. I actually washed and folded clothes tonight while the show was on. Wake up and stop these dumb long term stories of no interest. There are only two long term stories that I liked – the Casket relationship and Becket’s mother’s murder. These were definitely long term but they had some activity of some sort nearly every episode thus making it a series of frequent short term stories making them more interesting. You are losing millions of fans – wake up, realize that 6×23 and everything that has evolved from it is a total fiasco and stop this long term story foolishness and loss of fans that it is producing. I understand Stana when she says that she wants to stop while the show is still on too. She had better quit soon.
