‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 20 preview: Moving past Colton Haynes shocker in ‘The Fallen’

Arrow -

So how in the world can “Arrow” move forward from tonight’s new episode? Ultimately, there is nothing that really can be done other than to put one foot in front of the other. “The Fallen” is the title for this installment for good reason. This will be a chance to see how Oliver Queen moves forward after what was a pretty crazy scheme. It appeared that Roy Harper was dead. He did make it out of this episode live, but not before departing Starling City to begin a new life. This is definitely a twist that we did not see coming.

Looking ahead, Oliver may see no choice other than becoming the new Ra’s al Ghul. However, at the same time this could be the episode where he and Felicity actually take a big step forward. Check out the synopsis below:

“Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) finally makes Oliver (Stephen Amell) an offer he can’t refuse. The team joins Oliver on his journey to Nanda Parbat where a heartbroken Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) decides to take matters into her own hands.”

What is going to be interesting moving forward now is whether or not the show will use the absence of Roy in order to further along the story of Thea, who now has a chance to step into his place in Team Arrow. Whether or not she really does chooses to be seen, but at the moment, she is in grave danger.
