‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Will Joseph Morgan’s Klaus find an ally?

Let’s be honest at the moment: Going into Monday night’s new episode of “The Originals,” Klaus needs some help. Desperately, he needs to figure out if there is any way in the world he can start to prepare for the arrival of doom (i.e. Dahlia ahead). To make matters worse, he also knows that Mikael is also still out there.

Why else would he reach out to Davina of all people? In the sneak peek below, it is abundantly clear that there is about zero love lost between these two characters based on their interactions over the years. She has roughly zero interest in lending him a helping hand finding him, and says that she has some of her own priorities at the moment to deal with. Specifically, we are talking here in terms of how she would prefer spending her time grieving (understandable) than dealing with someone responsible for causing so much grief over the years.

We don’t expect this to be the last conversation these two parties have. If Klaus really does want to convince Davina to go along with him and lend a helping hand, there is really just one thing that he needs to do: Get a little bit of leverage. He needs to give her a reason to help out, and it is only after that when the two may be able to start moving forward.
