‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 20 preview: Holmes, Watson, and a case full of skepticism
We are starting to get ever closer to the end of “Elementary” season 3, but before we get there completely, we have to navigate through “A Stitch in Time.” This is the title for the next new episode of the CBS series airing next week, and one of the principal points in the plot is going to be trying to figure out just who killed someone responsible for debunking various theories, and was so good at it that he was able to actually make a living off of it. It is not altogether hard here to speculate just who would want him dead.
Based on the synopsis below, what Holmes and Watson discover as a result of this case, though, turns out to be far more than just an ordinary murder investigation. There could be many other lives at risk unless they manage to figure out how to solve the case quickly:
“Holmes and Watson investigate the murder of a professional skeptic, a man who debunked paranormal, religious and scientific phenomenon for a living. The case becomes urgent when his homicide reveals a potential threat to homeland security. Also, Captain Gregson’s daughter and fellow NYPD officer, Hannah (Liza J. Bennett), asks Watson for help with one of her cases.”
Will this be the rare case that significantly challenges these two and pushes them to their limits? This is what we’ve been waiting for roughly ever since the exit of Kitty Winter, since it still feels like this show has another gear. We certainly felt it the last time Moriarty appeared, but Natalie Dormer is unfortunately a very busy woman these days.
