‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 14 preview: What do Skye, the Hulk have in common?

The past few episodes of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” have certainly been eventful ones. How else do you really explain what is going on with Skye? She certainly knows now that she is far and away different from everyone else, and to go along with that, her powers are still very much in trial-and-error mode. She is trying to figure out exactly what she is capable of, and then how to implement these said powers into the surrounding world.

Unfortunately, there are going to be more roadblocks along the way. We already saw one particularly shocking example of this when we saw Chloe Bennet’s character last week break a variety of bones in her body trying to channel her powers within. Instead of unleashing them outward, she ended up unleashing them on herself.

So is there a proper Avengers comparison for her? This is a discussion that Fitz, Simmons, and Skye have in the sneak peek below! He wants to try and encourage her by saying that she could be the next Captain America; however, Simmons smartly points out right now that if there is a comparison for her to a superhero at the moment, it is the Hulk. She doesn’t turn big and green, but she is extremely dangerous in her own right.

Ultimately, it could take Skye the rest of the season, if not longer, to really figure out just what she is capable of. Eventually, she will have a chance to meet another one of the Inhumans in Lincoln (Luke Mitchell), and hopefully that will be a dramatic help to her.
