‘The Flash’ episode 16 spoilers: Someone gets a surprise ‘visitor’

Going into Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Flash,” there is a heck of a lot to impact. For example, you have to remember the chronology here: “Rogue Time” will technically take place before some of the events of “Out of Time,” or at least in a different sort of dimension. Barry Allen already saw a thing or two of what happens if he continues to do things the same way: He has Joe West trapped on a boat with the Weather Wizard, and while he finally kissed Iris, the entire fate of Central City is up in the air. He does not realize just yet that Harrison Wells is secretly Eobard Thawne, and that he killed Cisco Ramon in STAR Labs right when he was starting to piece everything together.

So with this episode, Barry has to unknowingly rewrite a little history, and the comic preview below suggests that he is at least partially successful. After all, this meeting with a mystery blonde woman in a bar never happened in “Out of Time.” We believe that this woman is most likely Lisa Snart, the brother of Captain Cold and a master manipulator.

In going after Cisco, she is trying to appeal to someone who we already know has an interesting in finding love, but seems to have zero skill in the subject matter. Her specific endgame is unclear, but we feel like she is desperate to prove a thing or two to her brother. This character is played by Peyton List, who you probably know mostly from her part in “The Tomorrow People.”

This episode should hopefully be a great one. While we are concerned about everything in “Out of Time” being undone (which, save for Cisco’s death, is a shame given how good that it was), we now know a thing or two about what this series is truly capable of.
