‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Why does Phaedra Parks make Kandi Burruss cry?

The moment that we saw NeNe Leakes suggest on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” this past week that the ladies should all enter counseling, we knew that there were going to be some emotional moments that came as a result of that.

Well, you can now see some more examples of just what to expect in the video below. In this clip, you can see Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss pick up where they left off on one key subject: Whether or not there have been some rumors spread behind each other’s backs that are going to cause the two to lose their friendship altogether. It does not take too long at all after Phaedra first broaches the subject that Kandi ends up in tears, talking about her failed tour and everything else that is going on with them.

What is important to note here is that this is not a conversation that feels like it is going to lead to the end of a friendship. These two are not coming at this from a combative place, which makes it stand out in a big way from almost the rest of the entire franchise.

By the end of this episode, maybe the current state of their friendship will become a little bit clearer. They’ve each had a very tough season so far, and it is with that in mind that it is fairly easy to root for the two of them.
