The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber promo: Egging them on

Comedy Central has now officially unveiled their first promo for the upcoming Roast of Justin Bieber, and it may be every bit of obnoxious as you expected it to be. If nothing else, it will make every egg lover in the entire country sob.

This promo basically focuses on a shirtless Bieber (did he really have to be shirtless and flexing his pecs?) getting pelted with one egg after another. This is obviously a reference to some “egging” accusations that were made against him in the fact, and these eggs may also be physical manifestations of the complete verbal beatdown that he is going to get when this special airs on March 30. Kevin Hart has already confirmed that he will be the Roastmaster of the entire event, which means that he will start off the show, and introduce all of the other members of the dais as they come up, mock each other, and then eventually mock Bieber himself.

In addition to this, it also appears now that the Roastmaster General himself is on board. According to Gossip Cop, Jeff Ross is also preparing to be a member of the panel. This should not shock anyone. Ross is a master roaster, and has done almost every one of these main roasts on the network dating back for the past decade. Many of the other comedians around him do tend to change year to year. Personally, we feel like this would be a great opportunity to bring Lisa Lampanelli back, but who knows if they actually will?

The full lineup of talent should be announced either later this month or in early March. Stay tuned.
