‘The Bachelor’: Jade Roper reacts to Chris Soules elimination, photo shoot reveal

Jade Roper made it very far into the competition on “The Bachelor,” and we will be honest here when we say that most of her narrative on this season of the show surprised us. Going into this season, we had already heard whispers about her past, and we thought that she would be getting a little more of a villain edit because of it. However, she was actually portrayed pretty positively, and the photo shoot and video that she took part in was just a secret that she kept for a long time.

While Chris Soules said last night that the photos were not the reason he sent her home, was it really? Jade doesn’t seem to think so, and she told “Good Morning America” that this morning in her first post-show interview:

“We had that conversation and I felt like he was being honest with me and when I didn’t get the rose he sat down with me and he made it very clear that that wasn’t the reason I went home so I’d like to believe it … I don’t feel like there was anything else that went on that would have changed it.”

We don’t think that it was so much the magazine photos itself that did it, but maybe there was a part of Chris worried about the notion of how well he really knew Jade at this particular moment. He had felt one way about her, and then suddenly saw a completely different side of her. That’s a lot of information to process, while his other final three may be a little more cut-and-dry.
